Psychedelic Dreamscape 2 is here! BADASS will be throwing another kickass event with a venue that
has retrofitted just for this occasion. The line-up is sick and with 4 stages along with an outside block party and memorizing performances by Electrocute And of course as with anything with BADASS there will be loads of unique attractions such as:

- confetti cannons
- bubbles
- balloon drop
- "counting sheep"
- dream interpreters
- complimentary body painting
- contortionists
- secret portals
- aerial acrobatics
- stilt-walkers
- dream fairies, butterflies & other mythical creatures
- lightshow by Sentient

- 3D mapping & visualizations by Def Mute
- chill room by Rathi Rajan
- sounds & staging by Symbiotic

And of course BADASS will have much more in store and surprises for everyone showing up.
Tickets online are no longer available but there will be 1000 tickets at the door, and from previous experiences
these can go pretty quick so be sure to arrive early. The location is 2135 Queens Chapel Rd NE, DC at a venue called DC Star.

VOUS ÊTES DES ANIMAUX – EDM! (Tonight!)

Come out all you party animals and also come dressed as the inner animal that brings out you. This event is hosting a venue full of local EDM talent over at Jammin Java this Thursday. Right off the batt… The line-up includes:

VOUS ÊTES DES ANIMAUX (Translated “YOU’RE ANIMALS”) will be an awesome multi-genre EDM to melt your face, wobble your frequencies, bring out the animal in you, and make you dance like a phreak. It’s encouraged to bring your hoops, gloves, poi, glowsticks and just about anything else to get your groove on. Hats off to Sonia Blade for all her hard work in putting this event together and making sure all the variables are in place for an incredible party. Jammin Java has perfected their sound system and coupled with their brilliant sound engineer they have achieved peak performance to make you’re inner ears orgasm. Ranked one of the top 100 music venues in the world and in addition ranked top 40 by Paste Magazine, Jammin Java has been and continues to be a great spot for artists all across the board. Rude Behavior – Check them out!

Rude Behavior consists of two skilled Breaks/Dubstep producers/DJs that are on the rise in the DC
Metropolitan area. They’re latest gig at Bass Hole was awesome, especially for all you Break-heads out there, you may of recently seen them live over at TRANSIT. They’re also on the line-up for BoomBox (April 7th,  get your tickets *here* cause it’s gonna sell-out fast!).

The duo Yagee & Sess was forged at the right time with the EDM scene expanding ever-so-rapidly. They’re also on the hunt for talented musicians of all sorts to incorporate into their music, vocalists, guitarist, classical musicians and many others are more than welcome to contact them for collaboration work. With a recent EP launched on Beatport has been a major hit under Tharsis Records. Check out their SoundCloud here and give them a liste, they’re also open to more bookings!

The Bass Hole – SYNergy Productions

Free entry to the Bass Hole tomorrow as well as plenty of excellent EDM music provided by incredible DJ’s. In Richmond Lotus is spinning but that’s such a far ass drive plus all the extra costs,  so this is a great alternative for those of you in the greater Washington Metropolitan Area. Not only that it’s awesome when supporting your own local EDM community, get latched onto some pride vibes. Great people, exquisite music, plenty of entertainment, drink specials, and some good ol dirty grimy fun.

I was surprised to see this on the line-up and quite excited. I’ve seen them live last year and the

performance was brilliant with an awesome vibe. Gladkill you really shouldn’t miss especially cause as far as I know they’re not in the greater Washington DC area very often.

- You’re living in the past if you haven’t seen them live, they’ve played at some of the most incredible shows in the area and kill it each time.
